Littleton Mission Project 2007
On Saturday, November 3rd, eleven youth and three adults from our church went to Littleton, NC to partcipate in the NC Missions Initiative through the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of NC. This project was coordinated by leaders from First Baptist Church of Henderson, Littleton Baptist Church, Warrenton Baptist Church and Wise Baptist Church. Over 500 people from all across the state went to Henderson, Littleton, Warrenton and Roanoke Rapids to minister to the needs of those communities, which are among the poorest in the state.

Our group’s project was in the Roper Springs community of Littleton at the home of a 90 year-old member of Littleton Baptist Church. We scraped paint and pressure-washed mildew off of her house in preparation for Littleton Baptist to paint. We also did some yard work.

Below are some pictures from our time there. To view or download the photo album, click here.

The Littleton Observer also ran a story about the event.
