Katie Lee Currin WMU Group
The Katie Lee Currin WMU Group is a group of women all of whom currently are over 55 years of age.  It was formed in 1995 and was named after one of the ladies in the church who was a devoted Christian lady who was loved and admired by everyone.  She was vivacious and always on the go like we wanted our WMU Group to be.

The Group is very active in supporting different missions.  Some of the group's annual mission projects over the last several years have been preparing a meal at the Masonic Home in Oxford at Thanksgiving, craft night with the children at the Ronald McDonald House in Durham,  volunteering at the church's Thrift Shoppe and Upward Basketball, fixing a meal for Vacation Bible School, along with supporting  foreign missions.

The Group meets the first Monday night in the month, unless it falls on a holiday then it is scheduled for the next Monday night.  Meetings begin at 6 p.m. in a member's home, at the Thrift Shoppe, or at a nearby restaurant.   The Group does not meet in June and July.
